comes equip with dust collectors and 4 metal air intake window for better burning.

Chimneys of Manjung Power Plant

This majestic 200m high RC chimney of Manjung Power Plant
is situated in Teluk Rubiah,Manjung District,Perak.
It is actually build on a man-made reclaimed island connected to mainland by a bridge.
This plant utilized the Clean Coal Combustion Technologies
where emission is the lowest and meets world standards.
The plant consist of 3 X 700MW steam turbine
giving a total of 2100MW output.


The 3 large boilers for the plant and its chimney.

The coal yard beside the power plant.

The majestic 200m high Chimney together with Tanjung Bin's are the highest Power Station chimney in Malaysia.

A nice warm welcome to the plant.

The bridge linking the man-made island to the mainland.

Chimneys of Lumut Power Plant

There are altogether 12 chimneys of about 40m high
in this 1,943MW CCGT(Combine Cycle Gas Turbine) Power Plant
Of which 3 chimneys from GB3(new Phase) are dummy and are not in used.
There are 9 set of Alstom 13E2 Gas Turbine Generator
and 3 set of steam turbine Generator
in the plant running on gas and diesel as standby fuel.
The LPP is situated by the seaside in Segari,Perak
nearby to the town of Pantai Remis.









These ex-tin mine lake forms a natural fence and added a nice scenery to the power plant
besides the straits of Malacca on the other side.

Brick Chimney of Weng Joo Seng Tapioca Factory

These four brick chimney of Weng Joo Seng Tapioca Factory
is situated at 13th miles Segari Road,
Pantai Remis,Perak.
Chimney no:1 and 3 is about 10m,
no:2 is about 7m and no:4 at about 15m high.
The factory is still being use today and it should be more than 60 years old.
