Abandoned Kuala Kangsar chimney

An abandoned circular brick chimney of about 25 meter high
i guess most probably from either an old garbage incinerator
or a brick kiln on a piece of vacant land awaiting time...
one that should be repaired and preserve for future generation.

Abandoned Chimney of Broga

The colonial era brick Garbage Burner Chimney
of about 8 meters high still looks rock solid
after all these years.
In the simple life of the good old days
a small burner like this is enough to cater
to the needs of the village.

Rubbish is pour in from the upper hole
and there is supposed to have steps and a platform
to get up there. Metal doors are missing too.

Looks blended with the slide from this angle

Chimneys of Penang Hill

Penang Hill, dated back to the late 1700's,
the oldest British hill station in Southeast Asia,
serviced by a funicular train since 1923,
the 833 meters high hill meant as an escape
from the hot and humid of the tropics.
The colonial house chimneys here are
like those of other stations in Malaysia.

Abandoned Chimney of Brinchang

This abandoned incinerator chimney of about 8m height in Brinchang,
Cameron Highlands, near the entrance to the Big Red Strawberry Farm.
It must have been build by very environmentally conscious people
to get rid of their rubbish in a highland frequented by tourist.
