This old 5m high chimney at Sg Palas Boh Tea Factory
is of a tea dryer furnace used in the process of drying the tea leaves
which uses rubber wood as a source of fuel.

VioletSky, The Boh Tea plantation started in 1929 and it's operation have been done in a very sustainable and environmentally friendly way. Rubber wood is very common here in Malaysia and it's used because it burns very well.

the factory looks a bit aged but i hope the process inside is organised and clean
