Flare Stack Chimney of Murphy's Bintulu Onshore Receiving Facility

The single flare stack chimneys of Murphy's Bintulu Onshore Receiving Facility
is about 40m high.
This new facility will process the natural gas taken from offshore Sarawak fields
before it is transfered to MLNG Bintulu to be liquidfied.

As the name suggest,the plant produces fertilizer for local and Asean use.

Bintulu Oil & Gas Flare Stack Chimneys

These chimneys of about 100m tall are used for burning off unwanted gas or flammable gas and liquids released by pressure relief valves during unplanned over-pressuring of plant equipment.
Their powerful flames will light up the night skyline of the plant area and can be seen miles away.
