of a former Steam Plant from the early tin mining era
in Sungai Lembing when electricity was still unavailable.
High pressure steam produced in a boiler from burning of wood
was used to turn machines and pumps at the mine.
If not for a tip by Mr Liew,a retired tin miner,
i wouldn't have had a chance of finding this 100 over years chimney
which was so well camouflage
that my son ask 'is that a tree'.

Now and then.
This is definitely going to be the next attraction of the town.

A view for the chimney.
well hidden!
Mr Liew's house at Kg Kolong Pahat with a beautiful rock garden,
good enough for bridal photoshoot!
